I had a great meal here. Quite expensive, it ended up being $105. I got the mixed meat platter and the hummus appetizer. The hummus appetizer was five stars easy. It is so delicious, so unique, and the bread it comes with is also delicious. The appetizer is also quite filling so I feel that we could've just stopped there. The meat platter was very tasty and unique. It's an assortment of sausages cooked inside a pita bread. Very cool demonstration. But the taste wasn't all that amazing. Good quality though. But the taste and wowness of the hummus far exceeded my pleasure with the platter. All the sauces that the place provides are super tasty. I especially love the red one. You need to try that.

One of my favorite spots in alphabet city! I love the mixed grill platter / platter supreme and the Halloum Mekli is delicious! The Fattet Djaj is also so tasty!! The dips and mezza apps are sooo good and if you have a few people you can order the one thing they don't even have on the menu - the original table side shawarma!! A heater is brought to the table. The heater is plugged in to keep the meat hot and there's a half frying pan that keeps the meat separate from the cascading plate of fries. There is a choice of beef, chicken or lamb. My only complaint about this meal is that the fries are tasty but not crunchy at all. All in all though I love it and love to take out of towners - especially in nice weather - for a real NYC experience!

Our group of 5 came with no reservations on a Friday night and were seated within 10 minutes busy as they were. We ordered the mezze dips as well as the beef shwarma (which is off menu; ask about it!) which were both delicious and more than plentiful for our group. The non-alcoholic drinks were absolutely delicious. Our waiter Yugg was amazing and went above and beyond for us. Even with all the business he still took the time to explain to us what the sauces were and what ingredients went in them. We all had a great time and left with happy filled bellies. Safe to say we will be coming back to try some different dishes next time!
